In 1986, we said "goodbye" to long-time host, Christine McGlade, after she fulfilled her contract obligations five episodes into the season, and Alasdair Gillis became the official host. Incidentally, this was also Alasdair's last syear on the show. This year welcomed four new regular cast members - Andrea Byrne, Amyas Godfrey, Matthew Godfrey, and Alanis Morissette.
