1982 was the first season produced in the half-hour format. It is also infamously known as the season that host, Christine McGlade, wore a pretty awful looking wig after cutting her hair in real life. This year, the show featured a new generation of kids and an opening animation that remained with the series until its end in 1990. We welcomed regular cast members - Eugene Contreras, Alasdair Gillis, Abby Hagyard, Vanessa Lindores, Luke McKeehan, Doug Ptolemy, and Klea Scott.
